Our regular Sunday service will be on the 8th at 16:00 at St. Jakob’s, near the Weisser Turm U-Bahn station in the Nuremberg Altstadt (Old Town). Coffee, tea and snacks to follow – all are welcome!
Join us for our first Sunday service of the New Year! Usual time (4pm), usual place (Jakobskirche, Jakobsplatz 1, 90402 Nürnberg). We will have coffee, tea and cookies after the service.
We will have our regular monthly service on 14 December, the 3rd Sunday of Advent. Come for the world’s best-known Christmas market, stay for church… or visit the market after church!
Please remember that said Christmas market is in full swing and that you may have trouble finding a parking place downtown – even the paid garages are usually quite full, so plan to get into the city early if you must drive. We have a VERY limited number of spots in the church lot if you absolutely cannot take public transit.
Rev. Dennis is recovering slowly but well from surgery and will lead our service this month. Please join us for worship, and coffee and snacks afterward.
The service will be in our usual location (St Jakob’s, Jakobsplatz 1, Nuremberg) at our usual time (16:00).
Our worship services are usually held on the second Sunday of each month at 16:00 (4:00pm) at the Jakobskirche in the Nuremberg Altstadt.Jakobsplatz 1 90402 Nürnberg
Nearest U-Bahn stations: Weisser Turm (U1), Plärrer (U2/U3)
By car: There is some free parking near the church, but not always. The Jakobsmarkt garage (hourly) usually has available spaces. During special events like Christkindlesmarkt or bike races, there is no parking at all or various streets approaching the church are closed to cars.
Rev. Dennis is recovering from surgery, but has planned an Evening Prayers service for us, led by Sonja March. We will have coffee and refreshments afterwards. All are welcome!
This service will be at the usual time and place:
14 September 2014, 16:00 (4pm)
Jakobskirche, Jakobsplatz 1, 90402 Nuremberg
As this will be a Verkaufoffenersonntag (Sunday with open shops) in Nuremberg, parking may be a challenge – arrive a bit early or take the U-Bahn (Weisser Turm/Plarrer)
Bishop Pierre will be here from Paris to conduct our regular service and confirm one of our members. After the service, we’ll have coffee and lots of cakes. As always, everyone is welcome!
Since the World Cup final will be the same evening, we recommend that you take public transit, if possible, as parking will probably be scarce.
