Apologies for the late post – we ARE having church today, usual place, usual time! Service starts at 16:00 with coffee, tea and snacks afterwards.
Rev. Dennis is recovering slowly but well from surgery and will lead our service this month. Please join us for worship, and coffee and snacks afterward.
The service will be in our usual location (St Jakob’s, Jakobsplatz 1, Nuremberg) at our usual time (16:00).
Our worship services are usually held on the second Sunday of each month at 16:00 (4:00pm) at the Jakobskirche in the Nuremberg Altstadt.Jakobsplatz 1 90402 Nürnberg
Nearest U-Bahn stations: Weisser Turm (U1), Plärrer (U2/U3)
By car: There is some free parking near the church, but not always. The Jakobsmarkt garage (hourly) usually has available spaces. During special events like Christkindlesmarkt or bike races, there is no parking at all or various streets approaching the church are closed to cars.
Rev. Dennis is recovering from surgery, but has planned an Evening Prayers service for us, led by Sonja March. We will have coffee and refreshments afterwards. All are welcome!
This service will be at the usual time and place:
14 September 2014, 16:00 (4pm)
Jakobskirche, Jakobsplatz 1, 90402 Nuremberg
As this will be a Verkaufoffenersonntag (Sunday with open shops) in Nuremberg, parking may be a challenge – arrive a bit early or take the U-Bahn (Weisser Turm/Plarrer)
Bishop Pierre will be here from Paris to conduct our regular service and confirm one of our members. After the service, we’ll have coffee and lots of cakes. As always, everyone is welcome!
Since the World Cup final will be the same evening, we recommend that you take public transit, if possible, as parking will probably be scarce.
